Dr. Anthony Czaplicki and a group of Orthopaedic Associates team members are preparing to travel to Guatemala for the second annual Orthopaedic Associates mission trip through Faith In Practice.
Last year, Dr. Douglas Lowery and a team from Orthopaedic Associates traveled to Guatemala and completed 87 life-changing orthopaedic surgeries in just four days for patients who otherwise had no access to specialized care. Those procedures restored mobility, relieved years of chronic pain, and gave patients the opportunity to return to work, care for their families, and fully participate in daily life. The impact was profound for both the patients and our team.
This year, Dr. Czaplicki and his team are committed to making the same meaningful difference.
Faith In Practice is a nonprofit organization that provides life-changing surgical and medical care to underserved communities in Guatemala. Many patients wait years for the opportunity to be evaluated by an orthopaedic specialist. Through this mission, they receive expert care at no cost, offering hope where resources are limited and access to treatment is scarce.
While Dr. Czaplicki and the Orthopaedic Associates team are generously donating their time, skills, and comfort to serve, there are significant costs associated with the trip. Orthopaedic Associates will cover a portion of the expenses, and we are seeking to raise $15,000 to help fund travel, lodging, mission fees, medical supplies, patient transportation, and other essential resources required to deliver safe, high quality care.
We are deeply grateful for the support of our community! Every donation, no matter the amount, directly supports this mission and helps restore movement, relieve pain, and change lives.
Thank you for your support!
