Post-Operation Tips for Successful Recovery

Operations tend to intimidate patients. Many worry about post-operation recovery i.e. the severity of pain a patient could experience how long recovery could last. Orthopaedic Associates physicians assistant Erin Haaff gives some advice to help ease any post-operation questions or concerns.

A few things Haaff lists are to first off stay on top of the pain with [recommended/perscribed] medication and consistently ice. Another tip made by Erin is to attend therapy! The "biggest tip" from her is having patience. Two weeks post-operation people are usually 20%-30% recovered. Maximum recovery can take in some cases up to a year.
