About Dr. Sisovsky

Charles A. Sisovsky, DPM, is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who is board-qualified in foot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgery. Dr. Sisovsky is honored to serve the Tri-State area at Orthopaedic Associates, Inc, which has locations in Newburgh and Evansville, Indiana.

Dr. Sisovsky is a native of Flint, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from The Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Sisovsky then traveled south to Louisville, Kentucky, where he spent three years as a podiatric surgical resident at Norton Healthcare. There, he received comprehensive training in all areas of forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma, and diabetic limb salvage. He served as co-chief resident during his third year. Subsequently, Dr. Sisovsky was selected for a 12-month advanced surgical foot and ankle fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Sarasota, Florida. During his time in fellowship, Dr. Sisovsky published numerous peer-reviewed articles, spoke at state and national meetings, and co-authored multiple book chapters. 

Dr. Sisovsky is well-versed in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and has clinical interests in sports medicine, including arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery, complex forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, and total ankle arthroplasty. He is also the team foot and ankle specialist for the USI Screaming Eagles.

Nonetheless, Dr. Sisovsky understands the importance of conservative care and will offer this well before discussing any surgical treatments. Dr. Sisovsky is active in research as he realizes the importance of remaining at the forefront of his specialty in order to provide the best care to his patients. Dr. Sisvosky has participated in extensive training and proctored cadaver labs for the Vilex Hintermann Total Ankle Replacement system. Dr. Sisovsky was the first surgeon in the state of Indiana to implant the Hintermann Series H2 and H3 total ankle systems.

Dr. Sisovsky, his wife Sarah, their son, Aiden, and their new baby Lyla, live on the westside of Evansville and are so thrilled to be able to call this their forever home. Dr. Sisovsky is a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Beyond patient care, he enjoys staying fit with various activities, including rowing, running, weightlifting, and hiking. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends at his family’s lake house in Santa Claus, Indiana. 

When it comes to sports, Dr. Sisovsky enjoys cheering on all Detroit teams. However, he is a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan and especially enjoys watching their football and basketball teams!
